(a) While acting in good faith, the directors of a not for profit corporation that provides community residential services or supports for persons with mental illness or serious emotional disturbance shall not be held personally liable for tortious acts committed by the corporation's service recipients.(b) Subsection (a) does not preclude imposition of personal liability on a director who also acts as a paid officer or employee of the corporation.Amended by 2024 Tenn.
