Section 33-3-706 - Place of hearings - Exclusion of public

The hearing shall be conducted in a place where the court is usually held or in a physical setting not likely to have a harmful effect on the mental condition of the transferee. No hearing shall be conducted in a jail or other custodial facility for the detention of persons charged with or convicted of criminal offenses unless the transferee is being held in connection with the offenses.
