If the chief officer of a state hospital or treatment resource determines that the person is subject to admission under § 33-6-403 and has the required certificates of need, then the chief officer of the state facility shall admit and detain the person for emergency diagnosis, evaluation and treatment.Acts 2000, ch. 947, § 1.
