Section 33-6-701 - Review of admitted persons to determine eligibility for discharge

The chief officer of a public or private hospital shall, as often as practicable, but not less often than every six (6) months, examine or cause to be examined each person admitted under this title for treatment of mental illness or serious emotional disturbance.
