The commissioner or the commissioner's designee shall be the compact administrator and, acting jointly with like officers of other party states, has the power to adopt rules to carry out more effectively the terms of the compact. The compact administrator shall cooperate with all departments, agencies, and officers of this state and its subdivisions in facilitating the proper administration of the compact and any supplementary agreement entered into by this state.Acts 1971, ch. 364, § 2; 1981, ch. 14, § 3; T.C.A., § 33-1502; Acts 2000, ch. 947, § 1.
