Section 36-2-319 - Enrollment of child in supporting party's health care plan

(a) In any case in which the court enters an order of support in a case enforced under Title IV-D of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. § 651 et seq.), the court shall enter an order providing for health care coverage to be provided for the child or children.(b) Section 36-5-501(a)(3) shall apply with respect to enrollment of a child in the noncustodial parent's employer-based health care plan.
