In any suit for damages for breach of promise or contract of marriage that may hereafter be tried in the courts of this state, the unsupported testimony of the plaintiff shall not be sufficient to prove such contract, and proof of the association of the parties shall not be sufficient corroboration.Acts 1949, ch. 161, § 2; C.
