Section 36-5-3009 - Costs and fees

(a) When a transfer request is made by the department of human services or its contractors, the fee and all taxes shall be waived for the department or its contractors.(b) Costs of court and for making copies and for providing certifications, fees and taxes shall be adjudged by the transferee court for both the clerks of the transferor court and the transferee court against the noncustodial parent/obligor and shall be apportioned between each clerk as to the costs, fees and taxes due for each clerk.(c) The clerk shall file any request for transfer and carry out the requirements of this part, even without receiving the appropriate fee for such request. If not paid, such sum shall be added to the cost bill to be assessed by the transferee court.
