Section 37-1-165 - Contracts among counties to pool juvenile justice supplements

Any two (2) or more contiguous counties may contract to pool the state juvenile justice supplements received by such counties through the commission on children and youth in order to provide more effective and efficient provision of services, including the employment of one (1) or more persons to provide full-time assistance throughout the contracting counties. Any combination of counties may so contract, but where feasible, counties desiring to pool their supplements should attempt to act within the judicial district of which they constitute a part.Acts 1985 (1st Ex.
