(a) As used in paragraph (a) of Article V of the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children, 'appropriate authority in the receiving state,' with reference to this state, means the department of children's services.(b) 'Appropriate public authorities,' as used in Article III of the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children, means, with reference to this state, the department of children's services shall receive and act with reference to notices required by Article III.(c) As used in Article VII of the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children, 'executive head' means the governor.Acts 1974, ch. 477, §§ 3, 4, 8; impl. am.
