The department shall be reviewed pursuant to the requirements set out in the Tennessee Governmental Entity Review Law, compiled in title 4, chapter 29. Further, the department shall respond to requests for information from any other legislative committees including, but not limited to, the fiscal review committee, the health and welfare committee of the senate, the health committee of the house of representatives, and the government operations committees of the senate and house of representatives, to ensure that thorough review and oversight of the department is accomplished.Amended by 2013 Tenn.
