Section 38-6-111 - Disposal of gambling devices

Any gambling device confiscated by the Tennessee bureau of investigation pursuant to a lawful order that has become final, including appeals, may, in lieu of destruction, be ordered sold at public sale, after the removal and destruction of the gambling circuitry and mechanisms. The proceeds of sales shall be deposited with the Tennessee bureau of investigation and budgeted to procure equipment for the forensic services division of the bureau.Acts 1987, ch. 450, § 1; 1996, ch. 675, § 19.
