Section 38-6-112 - Requests by attorney general and reporter for assistance

The attorney general and reporter is authorized to request the director of the bureau to furnish any assistance that may be required by the attorney general and reporter in the performance of the attorney general and reporter's duties under title 8, chapter 47, regarding the removal of officers; title 47, chapter 25, part 1, regarding trusts-unlawful restraint of trade and discrimination; §§ 48-1-122 and 48-1-123, regarding violations of the Tennessee Securities Act of 1980; and title 47, chapter 18, part 1, regarding the Consumer Protection Act of 1977. The bureau is authorized to provide to the attorney general and reporter any assistance that the attorney general and reporter may request pursuant to this section.Acts 1990, ch. 976, § 1.
