Section 39-17-1364 - Purchase and shipment of antique firearms and certain edged weapons

Notwithstanding § 39-17-1307, or any other law, it is lawful in this state for a person to purchase, and have shipped directly to such person's residence, the following:(1) A black powder weapon; provided, that it meets the definition of 18 U.S.C. § 921;(2) A knife, even if the blade is in excess of four inches (4'); or(3) A sword or bayonet, whether for ornamental, ceremonial, historical, theatrical or collecting purposes, or otherwise.Amended by 2014 Tenn.
