Section 4-29-113 - Continuation of claims or rights against terminated entity

(a) This chapter shall not cause the dismissal of any claim or right of any person against any governmental entity or any claim or right of a governmental entity terminated under this chapter that is the subject of litigation. Such claims and rights shall be assumed by the state as of the date of termination.(b) If any entity terminated under this chapter has any outstanding bonds or other indebtedness, the state shall preserve the rights of the holders of such bonds or other indebtedness and the obligations and rights of such entity shall accrue to the state.Acts 1977, ch. 452, § 15; T.C.A., § 4-2919.
