The department of general services shall coordinate and administer the state's purchases, personal properties, printing and motor vehicle facilities, surplus property, postal services and general public works services, and will provide for state agencies all additional support services that are not assigned by law to specific departments.Acts 1972, ch. 543, § 3; T.C.A., § 4-330; Acts 1981, ch. 499, § 4.
