Section 4-3-2002 - Commissioner

(a) The head of this department shall be the commissioner of safety, who shall be appointed by the governor and hold office at the governor's pleasure.(b) The commissioner shall be qualified as a disciplinarian and experienced in matters pertaining to safety.Acts 1937, ch. 33, § 15; 1939, ch. 11, § 10; 1945, ch. 28, § 3; C.
