Section 4-3-2202 - Appointment of commissioner - Qualifications

(a) The commissioner shall be appointed by the governor to serve at the governor's pleasure and shall receive a salary in accordance with § 8-23-101.(b) The commissioner shall be a person qualified by training and experience to perform the duties of the commissioner's office.Acts 1976, ch. 468, § 1; T.C.A., § 4-345.
