Section 4-3-5005 - Purpose of commission - Rules and regulations

(a) The purposes of the Tennessee film, entertainment and music commission are to: (1) Attract and bring to this state the production activities of film, television, record and other producers of entertainment properties;(2) Develop increased production activities by those producers of entertainment properties already located in this state; and(3) Coordinate the needs of the producers of entertainment properties with the needs of the citizens of this state and of the various departments of state and local governments.(b) To accomplish the purposes of the film, entertainment and music commission, it has the authority to promulgate and enforce all necessary rules and regulations in accordance with the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act, compiled in chapter 5 of this title.Acts 1987, ch. 288, § 1; 1991, ch. 357, § 6.
