Section 40-1-104 - Fraudulent sale of pledged property

Where cotton, tobacco, produce or other personal property is sold or pledged in violation of § 39-14-116, the courts in the county where the office or place of business of the person or persons having made advances on the produce or property is situated shall have jurisdiction of the cases arising under § 39-14-116, and of the person violating it.Acts 1879, ch. 131, § 2; Shan., § 6587; Code 1932, §10971; modified; T.C.A.
