Section 40-11-154 - Violation of condition of release - Penalties and exclusions

(a) It is an offense to knowingly violate a condition of release imposed pursuant to this part.(b) A violation of subsection (a) is a Class A misdemeanor.(c) A defendant shall not be convicted of both a violation of this section and a violation of § 39-13-113(i) if the facts supporting the prosecution arise out of the same criminal conduct.(d) A person who violates subsection (a) may be arrested with or without a warrant as provided in § 40-7-103(b).Added by 2024 Tenn.
