Section 40-11-211 - Certificate received and delivered to state or county

The sheriff shall receive the certificate in lieu of money, as now provided by law, which certificate the sheriff shall in lieu of money turn over and deliver to the state of Tennessee, or to the county, whichever may be the one entitled to the proceeds of the sale under the execution.Acts 1925, ch. 63, § 1; Shan.
