Section 40-13-106 - Endorsement when indictment not found

If twelve (12) grand jurors do not concur in finding an indictment, the fact may be made known by endorsing the words 'Not found' or other words of the same purport on the papers signed by the foreman.Code 1858, § 5094; Shan., § 7056; Code 1932, § 11601; T.C.A. (orig. ed.), § 40-1707.
