Upon stipulation of the parties, the court shall defer for a reasonable time any pending proceedings in the prosecution so that the procedures under §§ 40-15-102 - 40-15-105 may be pursued.Acts 1975, ch. 352, § 2; T.C.A., § 40-2106.
