Section 40-28-604 - Probation and parole officers - Qualifications

No person shall be eligible for the position of probation and parole officer who has not received a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or had at least four (4) years of qualifying full-time professional experience. As used in this section, 'qualifying full-time professional experience' includes law enforcement experience.Amended by 2023 Tenn. Acts, ch. 358, s 1, eff. 5/5/2023. Acts 2012 , ch. 727, § 43.
