Section 40-4-116 - Liability for neglect of duty

Any failure to comply with the requirements of this chapter by the officers named is a misdemeanor in office, and those officers are liable to judgments on their bonds, by motion, as in other cases of official bonds.Code 1858, § 5010 (deriv.
