(a) The permanent office of the board is in Nashville.(b) The board shall meet at least monthly at a time and place prescribed by the board. The board must take all votes by public ballot or public roll call. Secret ballots or secret roll calls are not permitted.(c) The salary of each member of the board is one hundred twenty thousand dollars ($120,000) annually with a cost of living adjustment every two (2) years. The salaries of employees of the board are set by the board. The requirements of § 40-28-103(a) regarding personnel procedures apply to all actions under this subsection (c).(d) A majority of members of the board constitutes a quorum for official administrative business.(e) When appropriate, the members of the board and the board's employees shall be reimbursed for reasonable and necessary travel expenses in accordance with the state comprehensive travel regulations.Added by 2023 Tenn.
