Section 41-21-1006 - Calculation of sentence expiration date

Notwithstanding another law to the contrary, the department of correction is responsible for calculating the sentence expiration date and the earliest release date of a felony offender sentenced to the department of correction and a felony offender sentenced to confinement in a county jail or workhouse for one (1) or more years.Added by 2023 Tenn.
