At the request of the commissioner of correction, the institute may provide the department of correction with technical and programmatic assistance, including inspections of state facilities. The institute shall provide the department with a report concerning the deficiencies or departures from standards found as the result of the inspection.Acts 1984, ch. 938, § 10.
