Section 42-2-202 - Office and expenses of department

Suitable offices and office equipment shall be provided by the state for the department in Davidson County, and the department, with the approval of the commissioner, or a person delegated by the commissioner to act in the commissioner's stead, has the power to make such other expenditures as are necessary to effect the purposes of this chapter, and may incur the necessary expense for office furniture, stationery, printing, incidental expenses, and other expenses necessary for the administration of this chapter.Acts 1957, ch. 374, § 3; impl. am.
