Before the chief legislative body of a political subdivision may exercise the powers granted by § 42-6-103, the zoning plan shall be certified by the agency of the state government charged with fostering civil aeronautics and by a municipal or regional planning commission created under title 13, chapter 4, part 1 or title 13, chapter 4, part 2, if the planning commission exists.Amended by 2015 Tenn.
