Section 43-19-206 - Erasure or counterfeiting a misdemeanor

Any person who erases, or in any way alters or defaces, any letter, mark, number or figure put upon any hogshead or other container by an inspector, or counterfeits the letter, mark, number or figure, previous to the delivery to the purchaser, commits a Class C misdemeanor.Acts 1870-1871, ch. 65, § 12; Shan., § 3391; mod.
