This chapter shall not apply to the business of buying or assembling livestock for the purpose of prompt shipment to or slaughter in any livestock market or packing house where veterinary inspection is regularly maintained under the animal disease eradication branch of the agricultural research services, United States department of agriculture.Acts 1957, ch. 208, § 12; T.C.A., § 44-2314.
