Section 44-19-105 - Referendum on assessment authorized

Producers of milk and milk products on a commercial basis may, by referendum of producers held in accordance with this chapter, levy upon themselves an assessment on milk products for the purpose of financing or contributing to the financing of a program of promoting, advertising, researching and other methods designed to increase the consumption, use and sale of domestic milk and milk products.Acts 1984, ch. 948, § 5.
