Section 44-19-109 - Conducting of referendum - Voting - Qualifications

(a) Any referendum conducted under this chapter shall be held on a statewide basis.(b) Persons eligible to participate in the referendum shall include all producers engaged in the production of milk products on a commercial basis, who have been issued and possess a valid current producer's permit, or certification, issued by the department.(c) In the referendum, individuals so eligible for participation shall have one (1) vote per permit or certificate.Acts 1984, ch. 948, § 9.
