Whenever a violation of this chapter and chapter 1 of this title by a bank or an officer, director or employee thereof is threatened or impending and will cause substantial injury to the institution or to the depositors, or stockholders thereof, a court of competent jurisdiction shall, upon the suit of the commissioner, issue an injunction restraining the violation.Acts 1969, ch. 36, § 1 (3.619); T.C.A., § 45-1119.
