As used in this part, unless the context otherwise requires:(1) 'Federal Reserve Act' includes the act of congress of the United States approved December 23, 1913, as amended;(2) 'Federal reserve bank' means the federal reserve banks created and organized under the authority of the Federal Reserve Act;(3) 'Federal reserve board' means the federal reserve board, created and described in the Federal Reserve Act; and(4) 'Member bank' means any national bank, state bank, or banking and trust company that has become or that becomes a member of one (1) of the federal reserve banks created by the Federal Reserve Act.Acts 1969, ch. 36, § 1 (3.323); T.C.A., § 45-301.
