Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the laws of this state, every association organized and incorporated pursuant to or operating under this chapter has all the powers granted to savings and loan associations whose home offices are located in this state and that are incorporated or operating under the laws of the United States.Acts 1978, ch. 708, § 1.06; T.C.A., § 45-1306.
