Section 45-3-1404 - Branch banks and subsidiaries

Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, a resulting institution may create and operate branch banks or subsidiaries in any county where the merging or converting association had branch offices or subsidiaries in existence or had applications for branches filed pending approval by the appropriate authority on April 23, 1985.Acts 1985, ch. 268, § 3.
