Any industrial loan and thrift company holding a certificate of registration under this chapter may convert to an industrial bank or to an industrial investment company by meeting the qualifications for operating as an industrial bank or industrial investment company as provided in this chapter. The commissioner shall provide forms for applications for conversion and may adopt rules governing conversion.Acts 1983, ch. 274, § 20.
