Section 47-26-701 - Part definitions

As used in this part, unless the context requires otherwise:(1) 'Agricultural products' means any product of agriculture which is tested for moisture content when offered for sale, processing, or storage;(2) 'Commissioner' means the commissioner of agriculture;(3) 'Department' means the Tennessee department of agriculture;(4) 'Moisture-measuring devices' means any device or instrument used by any person in proving or ascertaining the moisture content of agricultural products; and(5) 'Person' means any individual, corporation, partnership, cooperative association, or two (2) or more persons having a joint or common interest in the same venture.Acts 1977, ch. 138, § 1; T.C.A., § 71-701.
