A foreign corporation authorized to transact business in this state on January 1, 1988, is subject to chapters 11-27 of this title, but is not required to obtain a new certificate of authority to transact business under chapters 11-27 of this title.Acts 1986, ch. 887, § 17.02; 1987, ch. 273, § 49.
