(a) Each chapter, branch or affiliate of a parent organization or independent member agency of a federated fund-raising organization, may separately report the information required by § 48-101-504, or report the information to its parent organization or to the federated fund-raising organization with which it is affiliated, which shall then transmit such information as to its affiliates, branches, chapters or independent agency members to the secretary of state along with its own statement.(b) A parent organization filing the registration statements of one (1) or more of its chapters, branches, or affiliates along with its own statement, and a federated fund-raising organization filing the statements of one (1) or more of its independent member agencies along with its own statement, shall pay a single registration fee in accordance with the schedule as provided in § 48-101-504(b) for itself and for such chapters, branches, affiliates or independent member agencies whose statements are filed by it at the same time as its own statement. However, when an independent member agency of a federated fund-raising organization solicits or receives contributions from any source other than
