Section 49-1-215 - Training for teachers relating to attention deficit disorder and hyperactivity

As part of the county institutes or educational meetings provided for in § 49-1-201(c)(4), the commissioner shall provide for multisensory interactive training for teachers to develop awareness and knowledge of students with attention deficit disorder (ADD) and hyperactivity, and how to identify and best deal with and instruct such students.Acts 1996, ch. 966, § 1.
