The department of education shall provide all state board of education approved teacher training programs access to annual evaluation data for teachers and principals graduating from the programs for a minimum of five (5) years following the completion of the program. Data made available to teacher training programs shall not be a public record and shall be used only for the purpose of making improvements to the program. Each program receiving the annual evaluation data shall execute a signed data-sharing agreement with the department of education that includes provisions safeguarding the privacy and security of the data.Added by 2017 Tenn.
