Section 49-6-402 - Schools authorized

Local boards of education are authorized and empowered to establish and maintain junior and senior high schools when, in the judgment of the boards, the system of public schools over which they exercise lawful control will, by the employment of this type of school organization, better serve the educational needs of the pupils enrolled in the schools.Acts 1931, ch. 71, § 1; C.
