(a) The department of safety shall create de-escalation training for teachers, administrators, and other school personnel.(b) Beginning with the 2024-2025 school year and each school year thereafter, each LEA and public charter school shall ensure that each teacher, administrator, and other school personnel employed by the LEA or public charter school annually receives de-escalation training that is created pursuant to subsection (a).Added by 2024 Tenn.
