The department of labor and workforce development shall utilize existing staff to assist individuals interested in seeking postsecondary degrees. Efforts shall be made to encourage individuals to enroll in LEAPs offered at colleges of applied technology and community colleges, and to seek employment in high-skill or high-technology industries.Added by 2013 Tenn.
