The board may call upon other departments and agencies of this state for assistance in carrying out the purpose and intent of this part, including, but not limited to, the office of vital records. Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, the office of vital records shall provide to the board, without charge, vital records information.Acts 1996, ch. 991, § 1; T.C.A., § 49-7-819.
