Section 49-9-1202 - State matching funds

The state shall match the funds raised by each 4-H district up to one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) as money in the endowment fund becomes available through the general appropriations act or grants. No district may receive matching funds totaling more than one-sixth (1/6) of the amount of money in the endowment fund during any fiscal year. If at the end of a fiscal year there remains money in the fund, districts that have raised more than one-sixth (1/6) of the money available during that year shall be entitled to a pro rata match of the money remaining in the fund. The funds raised by the 4-H district, together with the state matching funds, shall be deposited in the endowment fund for each district created by this part.Acts 1994, ch. 1004, § 1.
